Here at the Central Haywood Church of Christ we try to follow God and his commands as
closely as we can. We believe in doing things God’s way and take seriously the teachings of
Jesus and the men inspired to write the New Testament. Because of this we use the Bible
as our only authority. We make every attempt to use Bible names for what we do. Even the
name that the church carries is one found in scripture. Romans 16:16 (NIV) “All the churches
of Christ send you greetings.”
Jesus told his disciples the night before he died that all men would know they were his
disciples by the love that they had for each other. It is our sincere goal to love God and one
another the way that Jesus said.
We make every effort to act as the church did in the beginning before denominations and
divisions changed the religious world. We take our directions from the New Testament and
not human thoughts.
